Hello friends, my name is Arjun Gupta and today we learn that,
Is antivirus necessary for a phone?
First of all, antivirus is not necessary to download in phones. The Android operating system is based on Linux Kernel that's why the Android phone doesn't need antivirus if you install the application from play store or any other popular website like apkmirror.
If you install antivirus in a phone, then it itself create a virus in your phone and detect it and show you that " virus detected ".
This type of application just drain your battery life, decrease your phone ram efficiency and slow down your phone.
A virus is a type of malicious software (malware) program, whose choice has infected our PC for decades. Since the Android platform has evolved and used more widely, so there is a number of potential threats in the system. Viruses do not actually infect Android because they do not copy themselves, but the word is still used.
The solution pushed by AV companies is to establish a safety suite that manually scans every app, monitors your web traffic, and so on. These apps become a drain on resources and are generally bothered with plenty of information and pop-ups. You probably do not need to install other AV applications on Lookout, AVG, Symantec / Norton, or Android. Instead, there are some reasonable steps you can take that will not be able to pull your phone. For example, your phone has antivirus protection built-in.
Since the first handset has hit the market, users are retaking their Android phones, but these days it is less common. Provides a number of utilities to get the platform. Using root Android is basically like running a computer in admin mode. Although it is possible to run a rooted phone safely, it is definitely a security risk. Some exploitation and malware require root access to the function, and otherwise, it is harmless even if you install it in any way. If you do not have a good reason to route your phone or tablet, do not just open that possibility yourself.
Google Play Store is the biggest goal of this type of malware and scams because it is the mainline distribution system for content on your phone. With the lack of comprehensive policing, the lowest amount of upload (and download) apps per day, makes it an easy target.
But there are many other delivery mechanisms for viruses and malware. Emails with attachments - anything you get on your PC - or MMS which automatically downloads, clicks on manually-installed popular apps like Whatsapp, Phishing scams, fake applications, APK (outside of hack play) Doing or clicking suspicious download links, among others.
At last, Android phone doesn't need antivirus until you download from safe sources.
Hope you gain something interesting from this blog.
Thank you
